The Potter's House--known as Washington DC's original coffeehouse/bookstore--has been a social justice hub since 1960. On FRIDAY SEPT 23 our monthly OPEN MIC theme is "Peace Pieces". COME! Spoken word artists (poets, rappers, readers, story tellers) musicians (classical, jazz, folk, funk, acapella ET. AL!) from around the corner--and around the WORLD!--will perform. (Martin guitar & Yamaha upright in tune piano available) FREE! Sign up at 7 PM Go til we're done. Homemade dinner and desserts (under $5). ALL PEOPLE (any ages, races, creeds & sexual preferences) WELCOME !!!
