Bay Area Premieres of CHOICE: Then and Now - An award winning documentary trilogy on the dramatic history of women’s reproductive rights in the USA

Local Bay Area Filmmaker, DOROTHY FADIMAN, re-releases her OSCAR-nominated, EMMY-winning trilogy of films CHOICE: Then and Now on KQED and KTEH in March and April 2010. The three films “When Abortion Was Illegal”, “From Danger to Dignity” and “The Fragile Promise of Choice” feature first person accounts of women who experienced illegal abortions, document the efforts of people who broke the silence and challenged the laws and discuss the current abortion controversy.

KQED Life - Tuesday 3/30 and Wed 3/31 at 10pm
KQED World - 4/4 from 9pm-11:30 pm
KTEH - Fridays at 11pm starting 4/2
